![]() The Sustainable Development Studies programme is an exciting way for students attending University for sustainability (US) member institutions to learn about varies issues on sustainable development with courses held in the classroom, online, in the field, and around the world.
The Sustainable Development Studies programme offers you a unique opportunity to learn about interdisciplinary issues that sustainable development and prepares you for advanced study or professional employment in fields as diverse as sustainable resource management, energy, finance, and international law. The Sustainable Development Studies core curriculum has been developed as a collaborative effort of US member institutions, involving leading experts on sustainable development issues. The Sustainable Development Studies program consists of two required components: Sustainable Development Core and an Advanced provision. The Sustainable Development Studies Core Courses consists of an introductory course and upper-level advanced courses in three interdisciplinary fields of study. Together, the core enables students to gain a broad knowledge and understanding of the lands, peoples, and critical issues of the Sustainable Development. Advanced provision are programs of study that focus on the advanced research of an area, issue, or problem of particular relevance to Sustainable Development. Sustainable Development Studies Core courses and Advanced offerings are offered on-site at participating US member institutions.
