Pre-Award Administration
The pre-award administration office of the Global Research Enterprise Services provides high-level support to principal investigators and their staff with regard to the development, institutional review and submission of extramural proposals. Other responsibilities of pre-award administration include: negotiating and accepting awards on behalf of the University; drafting, negotiating and executing subcontracts; ensuring institutional compliance with the relevant jurisdictional regulations, sponsor policy and University rules; representing the University while interacting with sponsors; coordinating pre-award functions that require either University or sponsor prior approval; and the resolution of problems related to the administration of sponsored projects.
